Laura Haid serves as the Executive Director of Alumni Forum Services, where she oversees the organization's work supporting Harvard Business School clubs, YPO forums, and other peer communities. She helps design, launch, and strengthen confidential, small-group forums where leaders challenge, support, and hold each other accountable. A coach and community builder at heart, she is known as a calm, trusted presence for senior leaders, staff, and board members she works with. She has over 16 years of experience creating high-trust environments that enable peer forums to succeed.

Ms. Haid spent her career at the YMCA of Greater Charlotte, one of the region's largest community organizations, rising from Senior Community Membership Director to Regional Executive Director of its South Region. In that role, she led a six-location region with over 200 staff, served as the primary coach and thought partner to six site-level executive directors, and stewarded three advisory boards of senior business and community leaders.

Earlier, as Executive Director of the Brace YMCA and Hemby Center, Ms. Haid became known for the culture she cultivated. She maintained full staff retention and achieved the highest staff culture score in the association. She guided the branch through a major construction period without losing momentum, growing its member community to 6,338 households and reaching record revenue of $9.8 million in 2024. Her natural talent for building trust with senior business and community leaders resulted in over $655,000 raised for the organization over two years.

Ms. Haid earned her B.A. in Sociology from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York. She is a graduate of the multi-year, cohort-based Leadership Development Initiative, a Gallup Strengths-based leadership facilitator, and a participant in the Global Leadership Summit. She has been named among the "100 Most Powerful Women" in Matthews and Mint Hill in 2023 and 2024, nominated for the Athena Woman of the Year award, and recognized as a finalist for the Harry Brace Servant Leadership Award.

Ms. Haid lives in Mint Hill, North Carolina, with her husband and their German Shepherd. She is a four-time Ironman triathlete and an eight-time marathon runner, enjoys time on the lake, and is an avid Buffalo Bills fan.
